PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Bayer Oberon is a novel foliar contact insecticide and acaricide containing 22.9% SC (240 SC) Spiromesifen belonging to the Ketoenol chemical class. It is specially engineered for managing tough sucking pests such as whiteflies and various species of phytophagous mites across vegetable, fruit, and field crops. Due to its excellent translaminar action and ovicidal properties, Oberon provides sustained protection on both upper and lower leaf surfaces.
KEY FEATURES & BENEFITS
- Lipid Biosynthesis Inhibition (LBI): Blocks key metabolic lipid synthesis pathways, stopping pest growth and development.
- Multistage Control: Exceptional persistence against eggs, nymphs, and young stages, alongside reducing female fecundity (transovarian effect).
- No Cross-Resistance: Works effectively against pest populations that have developed resistance to traditional organophosphates or pyrethroids.
- Translaminar Efficacy: Quickly penetrates leaves to protect unsprayed leaf undersides where whiteflies and mites hide.
- IPM Friendly: Selective action makes it safe for beneficial insects and predatory mites when applied as recommended.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- Wear personal protective gear (rubber gloves, protective mask, goggles, and full-sleeve clothing) during mixing and application.
- Avoid direct inhalation of spray mist or contact with skin and eyes. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after spraying.
- Do not apply near water bodies, aquaculture ponds, or during peak honeybee foraging hours.
- Store in the original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from food, animal feed, and children.
